Our story

Goldsmiths
since 1978.

Started by the founding family as a single-counter shop, today's DDA Jewels is still run close to the shop floor, with family members and long-time staff guiding customers through selection, sizing and valuation.

We make every piece in-house. Stones are graded by IGI; gold is BIS hallmarked with a HUID. The bullion desk operates on live bullion rates linked to market movement, with the same working board shown on this site.

The fourth generation joins. The showroom stays exactly the same.

Common questions

Before you
visit.

Do I need an appointment?
Walk-ins are welcome daily from 12:00 to 20:00. For bridal sets or longer custom consultations, please call ahead so the right team member and counter space can be kept aside.
How do you price gold?
Gold is priced from the live bullion rate linked to market movement, multiplied by the piece's gold weight. Making charges, stones and GST are then shown separately where applicable.
Are GST and making charges shown separately?
Yes. Quotes and invoices separate the gold value, stone value, making charges and GST wherever applicable. Making varies by design complexity, finish and labour involved.
Can I sell gold back to you?
Yes, for gold jewellery and coins after physical inspection. The offer depends on the day's live rate, net weight, purity, condition, stones and any testing or refining deductions.
What should I bring for an old gold valuation?
Bring the jewellery or coins, the original bill or hallmark certificate if available, and a government ID for high-value exchanges. We check weight, purity, stones and condition on premises.
Do you offer custom orders?
Yes. Bridal sets, single pieces and remake work can be discussed in store. Lead times are usually 14–28 days depending on design, stone sourcing and finishing.
How does a bridal consultation work?
Bring references, outfit details, budget range and the event date. We discuss design direction, metal purity, stone options, estimate, measurements and delivery timeline before confirming the order.
Is the bullion rate the same as the showroom rate?
Yes. The public live rates page is the operational rates board our staff use. There is no separate online price; final rates are confirmed at billing or order booking.
How do I verify a hallmark or HUID?
Check the BIS logo, purity/fineness mark and six-digit alphanumeric HUID on hallmarked gold. You can verify the HUID using the Verify HUID feature in the BIS Care app.
What payment modes are available?
Please call the showroom before visiting for current payment options and limits. The desk can confirm UPI, card, bank transfer or cash handling for the value of your purchase.
What are the exchange and buy-back rules?
Exchange or buy-back is quoted only after inspection. Hallmarking, bill, purity, net gold weight, stones, damage, soldering and market rate movement can all affect the final value.
Do you handle resizing and repairs?
Yes, many rings, chains, clasps and settings can be resized or repaired after inspection. Some stone-set or antique pieces may need extra time or may not be suitable for alteration.
Is parking available nearby?
The showroom is on MG Road opposite Nagar Nigam Office, Agra. MG Road can be busy, so call before visiting for the easiest drop-off, parking and direction guidance that day.
